Core Texts of the Hasidic Masters, Part 36 of 43.. Schachter-Shalomi begins class thirteen by answering questions about Hannah Rohel of Ludmir and women in Hasidism. He then talks briefly about the Kotzker Rebbe before reading "The Torah of the Menorah" on Hannah Rohel of Lubmir from his book, The Dream Assembly. At this point, Schachter-Shalomi plays a documentary about a modern woman exploring the lives of Hasidic women in Lubavitch (Crown Heights, Brooklyn).He then answers questions about Jewish Renewal and Reconstructionism, recounting his meeting with Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan, founder of Reconstructionist Judaism.
