Description
Core Texts of the Hasidic Masters, Part 42 of 43. In this continuation of class fourteen, Schachter-Shalomi continues answering questions on the relationship between Hasidism and Existentialism, and on Renewal in relation to the Lubavitcher Rebbe. He reflects on Hasidism as it is presented in the films the students have watched and talks about Hasidic spiritual guidance for individual types, as well as Hasidic spirituality for women. He then discusses the differing concept of the Tzaddik in the teachings of Reb Shneur Zalman of Liadi and Rebbe Nahman of Bratzlav, and tells stories of his friend, Reb Gedaliah Kenig of Jerusalem, a Bratzlav manhig, 'leader.'
