Abstract
William Nelson for many years was the associate editor of the Grand Junction Sentinel, for which he was formerly the sports, Western Slope, city, and managing editor. The collection contains articles written by Nelson for journalism classes and for various newspapers and magazines in the 1930s and 40s advocating better local government and county consolidation.
