Scope and Contents
The Frantz Collection contains personal items of Ms. Frantz’s such as essays, campaign pins, and books; also, newspapers and news clippings from Rocky Ford, Colorado, a land title, personal diaries of Mrs. Frantz’s mother, Mrs. Henry Talhelm, a photograph of a Hygiene, Colorado Sunday School class in 1894, and other historical documents from the area.

Biographical Note
The Talhelm family relocated from Kansas to Colorado in the spring of 1896, a journey described in the diary of Ms. Frantz’s mother, Mrs. Henry Talhelm. Very little personal information is known or included about Ms. Blanche Talehlm Frantz; the collection contains documents from several sources and people. She was a school teacher; the collection features a historical piece written by Frantz for the Rocky Ford Gazette as well as personal essays.
