Scope and Contents
The WorldViews Resource Center videos are organized into three main categories: Center for Defense Information, World Regions, and General. I. Center for Defense includes videos from the American Defense Monitor Series. II. World Regions is divided into four sections: A. Africa, B. Latin America, C. Asia, D. Middle East. Each of these four sections is further divided into individual countries or general files within that region and contain videos which pertain to each country. III. General is divided into five sections: A. Debt, B. First Amendment, C. Health, D. Hunger, and E. Miscellaneous.

Historical Note
WorldViews is an organization which “gathers, organizes, and publicizes information and educational resource materials that deal with issues of peace and justice in world affairs.” Their particular focus is on third world countries, such as the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, among others.
The WorldViews Resource Center is located in San Francisco, California. This contains information on over 2,500 different publishers and distributors of both printed and audio visual materials, who specialize in global issues. The Resource Center also houses a reference collection of printed materials about third world countries, publications from international non-governmental organizations, and educational resources.
WorldViews additionally consists of four regional offices: Africa, Asia & the Pacific, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East. These each provide their own specialized services and materials.

Abstract
Videos collected by the WorldViews Resource Center, Data Center Library. The videos were produced by a variety of sources and cover a wide range of topics including issues about the U.S. National Defense, issues throughout the world, national debt, 1st Amendment Rights, health, hunger, and the environment.
