Abstract

Arthur White is the son of Alma White (1862-1946), founder of the Pillar of Fire Church, headquartered at Zarephath, New Jersey. Bishop Arthur White was responsible for this evangelical denomination's Western headquarters in Denver and its educational activities including Belleview College in Westminster, Colorado. The college provided preparatory and collegiate level moral and practical training in Christian advocacy and citizenship. The collection holds printed matter distributed by the church, including monthly educational magazines, and books providing autobiographical material by Bishop Alma and Arthur K. White.
