Founded in 1994 by Padraic Kenney, a history professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder, the Bosnian International Community was a non-profit organization designed to support peace and justice in Bosnia and provide material and instructional support to the University of Mostar.

Abstract
The Bosnian International Community was founded by a group of concerned citizens from Boulder, Colorado in order to help and support the ideal of a multi-ethnic community in Bosnia and to demonstrate support from the CU Boulder community to the University of Mostar.
