Siegfried Wagener papers

 Collection
Identifier: COU:1649

Scope and Contents

The overwhelming majority of the materials in the Siegfried Wagener Collection are articles and manuscripts that he wrote. These have been divided to highlight the “We’re Listening” column and “Analysis of Propaganda” radio program from the Second World War period. The rest of his writings spanning roughly 1926-1954 are presented together. Materials in this collection are written in both English and German. A large part of the pre-1932 materials are in German. The guide will indicate where articles or manuscripts appear in both English and German. Amongst Siegfried Wagener’s photographs there are many negatives. However, the two photo albums contain prints of virtually every photograph.
