A bill of sale for a 9 year old child, Jasson, from William R. Campbell to Milus Dobbins. He was sold for $696.50 on February 8, 1856 in Iredell County, North Carolina.

Created by William R. Campbell. Transcription: "know all men by these presents that I William R Campbell have this day bargaind and sole to Milus Dobbins for the consideration of Six hundred and nintiy six dollars 50 cents a negro boy by the name of Jasson aged nine years of age which negro I warrent the title to the Said M Dobbins and his ears for ever from all person what so ever this day and date above set my hand and test."
