Scope and Contents
The Clint O. Dumm Collection contains the original drawings and photographs by Dumm of the locomotives in the Colorado Northwestern Railroad. Also contains several cancelled checks from the National State Bank of Boulder.
RESTRICTION: The collection can be used only for personal or scholarly purposes. Patrons must write a letter stating how they plan to use the drawings. Patrons may not, in any way, use the drawings for profit. Profit making includes publishing a book of the drawings, publishing and selling reproductions of the drawings, and building for sale of models derived from these drawings. The curator must approve and initial each letter. To protect the originals researchers may examine blueprint copies only, located in folder 5. They may only obtain a limited number of copies, not the entire collection.

Biographical Note
Clint Otis Dumm was born in Boulder, Colorado on February 17, 1892. Dumm worked various occupations throughout his lifetime: photographer, printer, bus driver, and chauffeur. His longest position was as a photo finisher at Yocom Studios in Boulder, Colorado. He was an active member of the First Methodist Church since 1903, an active member in Boy Scouts as he helped to organize Boy Scout Troop No. 71 which he was scoutmaster of from 1925 to 1938, and was a member of the Boulder Historical Society. Dumm was also Officer of the State Board of Child and Animal Protection from 1913 to 1963 in Colorado. Dumm died at the age of 78 on September 19, 1970.

Abstract
Clint O. Dumm (1892-1970) was a photo finisher at Yocom Studios in Boulder, Colorado, and long time railroad enthusiast. The Clint O. Dumm collection contains original photographs and scale drawings of locomotives #1, #2, #25, #30, #31, #32, #33, and #74 of the Colorado Northwestern Railroad known as the Switzerland Trail that date from 1897 to 1906.
