Biographical

Carol Pendell was the International President of the Women’s International League of Peace and Freedom from 1980-1986. During that time, she was interested in orchestrating peace efforts between the Soviet Union and the United States. Specifically, she focused on projects relating to citizen peace efforts between the two countries, especially with Soviet women.
