Colorado Federal District Court Oral History Project collection

The Colorado Federal District Court Oral History Project consists of a series of interviews with Colorado Federal District Court judges, family members, and associates of judges. The interviews were conducted between 1997 and 1998. Interviews were conducted with: Judge Frederick Winner, Judge John Porfilio, Judge JamesCarrigan, Judge John Kane, Jr., and Clerk of the Court James Manspeaker. In addition, interviews were held with the relatives and former clerks of some federal judges who are now deceased. Those include Susan Doyle, the daughter of Judge William Doyle, Madge Arraj, the wife of former Chief Judge Alfred Arraj, Peter Breitenstein, the son of Judge Eugene Breitenstein, and Judge Warren Miller, a former clerk for Judge Breitenstein.
