Biographical / Historical
George C. Rouse graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in 1934, a masters of Science in 1937, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in August 1958. He worked for the US Bureau of Reclamation. His specialty was stress on concrete dams and earth filled dams due to earth movement with regard to earthquakes. The collection holds notes, publications and related information on the Auburn Dam as well as technical reports on dams, nationwide.
