Abstract
Photocopy of an indexed diary which begins on July 22, 1857 in Florence, Nebraska Territory, and ends on October 18, 1862 in Buckskin Joe, Colorado Territory. Reverend Billingsley (1818-1897), a Presbyterian Home Missionary, was elected Chaplain of the Colorado House of Representatives in 1861 and was present for the organization of the first Presbyterian Church in Denver the same year. Also, later missionary trips to the mountains and mining camps of Colorado are described.
