Genealogy of Carrie M. Cramer and Grace Cramer Small

Four families came in covered wagons to homestead in Elkhart, Kansas about 1909, 3 miles from Oklahoma and 1 mile from Colorado.

Carrie Craver had one sister, Nellie Pickard. Carrie Craver had two daughters, Edith (Craver) Ogden and Grace (Craver) Small. Grace Craver Small had one daughter (Bonnie Small Hutchins) who had two children: Kristine Hutchins and Bill Hutchins

Bonnie Hutchins, daughter of Grace Craver Small, and granddaughter of Carrie M. Craver, was brought to Colorado at 1 year old. They first came to Los Animas, Co., in the 1920s.

Processing Information

This collection was originally erroneously titled "Carrie M. Cramer and Grace Cramer Small collection." The title and all corresponding biographical information in this finding aid was revised in September 2020 to correctly identify the creators and subjects of the collection as Carrie Farrington Craver and Grave Craver Small.
