Scope and Contents
Series 06 consists of 2,830 photographs, the vast majority of which (approximately 2,450) are color transparencies, also known as slides. The images document ongoing field work at the Yellow Jacket Complex, including sites 5MT-1, 5MT-2, 5MT-3, and 5MT-5, as well as the social life of the field crew and supervisors, the scenery and environs surrounding the area, and other sites in the region. A number of slides depict excavated objects, most of which are cermaics associated with a burial context. Please note that images which depict burials will not be available to the general public for reasons of cultural sensitivity.
