The Dr. F.A. “Gus” Garcia gift consisted of 649 books, pamphlets, and periodicals, some rare, on various topics of Colorado, New Mexico and other Western Americana. Dr. Garcia had a long-standing interest in history and art of the American West.

A. F. Curtis operated a hardware store in Georgetown from the 1860s until 1882. He also served as a judge, was the president of the Mercantile National Bank, and was an active Republican and a member of the Clear Creek Bible Society. The collection contains the records of Curtis' banking and hardware businesses.

The Pattison A., Jr. Collection contains newsletters, articles and pamphlets warning about the dangers of Communism in American schools, the United Nations, and Civil Rights movements. Pattison, a Boulder resident, was president of the right wing Save America Constitutionally Club during the 1960’s.

The photos and negatives contained in this collection were compiled by the Boulder Daily Camera from its early days in the 1890’s to 1990. These photos were published in the newspaper concerning events at the University of Colorado.

A. L. Wilson (1861- 1925) moved to Gunnison, Colorado, in 1894 for his health. He ran a fishing resort called the Jointed Rod Resort. The collection contains a 21 volume diary from 1894-1925, plus clippings on the Episcopal Church, the University of Colorado, and the Boulder Chautauqua.

Ada Morris graduated from the University of Colorado in 1903 and taught art for many years. The collection contains academic transcripts, one photograph, a teaching certificate, personal correspondence, and genealogical material.

Dr. Adolf Busemann was a visiting Professor at CU and is the “father” of supersonic aerodynamics and the inventor of the swept-back wing. His collection includes professional publications, personal notes, letters of correspondence, honorary awards and photographs while working for NASA and NCAR.

The Adriana M. DiGioia Papers, created in 1982, includes a typescript of her original manuscript, two postcards and a napkin.

This collection contains typescripts and proofs for Aileen Fisher's children's books, as well as signed copies of her books and correspondence with her editors. Fan mail from children, often accompanied by children's artwork, is also included in this collection. Collection Number MS 28

Papers of the Airlie, Stanley, and Ogilvy families, including correspondence and photographs.

The papers consists of the guest registers of the Albany Hotel for the period of 1913 to 1922. The Hotel was located in Denver.

Albert A. Bartlett, emeritus professor of the Department of Physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder, has been an active participant in numerous civic and campus organizations. The collection contains personal files and records related to his service as an officer or active member of boards, commissions and committees.

The Dakan Collection contains a four year run (1925-1929) of the French journal, Journal Des Fabricants De Sucre (Journal of the Sugar Manufactor). The weekly journal was noted for its unbiased international review of the sugar industry. Although written mainly in French, each issue has 1 to 2 pages in English and a half page in Spanish. The issues contain articles on the Colorado sugar beet industry and on U.S. sugar policies.
