Benjamin Long papers
Original copy of Benjamin Long's discharge paper from the Company "C" Third Regiment of the Colorado Cavalry (100 day volunteers) December 28, 1964, soon after the Sand Creek Massacre. Also included is the original copy of Long's pension authorization paper dated December 20, 1912.

Benjamin S. Galland collection
The Benjamin S. Galland collection consists of drafts of newsletters written by University of Colorado law professor Galland for his friends and former students during WWII (1942-1945). Also included is return correspondence from these individuals (1942-1945), two newspaper clippings, a signed “Welcome Home Book” (1945), and a Unit history/year book of the 2766th Engineer Base Photomapping Company. Professor Galland taught at the University of Colorado from 1931 through the early 1950s.
Bent and St Vrain collection
William and Charles Bent and Ceran St. Vrain built Bent's Fort on the Arkansas River in 1832 as a buffalo robe and fur trading post on the Santa Fe Trail. Through trade with the Kiowa, Cheyenne, and Arapahoe, Bent's Fort performed economic, diplomatic, and provisioning functions. They also built Fort St. Vrain on the South Platte River. The collection contains letters, photographs and articles about the two families and about Bent's Fort.

The Blanche Talhelm Frantz Collection contains historical files concerning Rocky Ford, Colorado, and personal items of Ms. Frantz and the Talhelm family. The collection contains original documents such as newspapers, a photograph, land title, and handwritten diary entries of Mrs. Henry Talhelm, Blanche’s mother, dated 1896.
Bob Schaffer papers
Bob Schaffer served as Colorado's Fourth District Congressional Representative for six years (1997-2002) as a member of the Republican party. He focused on Colorado's agricultural and educational needs in Washington, sponsoring and co-sponsoring legislation. A majority of the collection consists of legislation related to education and resource management. Some objects, photographs, slides, and framed pictures are in the collection as well, highlighting his success in Congress.

The Boulder Campus Planning Commission is a group of 25 members that advise the Chancellor of the University of Colorado Boulder onland use and planning issues regarding the campus. It was established in the late 1960's and was officially recognized by the University in 1971. The collection mainly consists of plans for remodeling many of the buildings in the University of Colorado Boulder from 1969 to 1988.
