Rosetta Gordon Bell Wolcott papers
Rosetta Wolcott, wife of Charles A. Wolcott, was a teaching assistant for Mary Rippon at the University of Colorado at Boulder and in 1920 joined the staff of the Romance Language Dept., retiring as Assistant Professor in French and Spanish in 1948. She then served as a correspondence instructor in the Extension Division. She also traveled to Europe on several occasions. Papers include diaries for the years 1904-1909, 1948-1970; autograph books from 1888 and 1891; and memorabilia.

Rowland Dunham (1885-67) was a renowned organist and music professor at the University of Colorado College of Music from 1927 until 1953. Between 1938 and 1950 he was appointed the first Dean of the Music College. Roy E. Young papers

Rudi H. Nussbaum papers
Dr. Rudi Nussbaum (1922-2011) recieved a doctorate in nuclear physics and began teaching at Portland State University in 1959. In addition to his career as an educator and researcher, Nussbaum was also a peace activist and a critic of the safety of the nuclear power industry. The collection includes professional papers, research documents, correspondence and conference documents on Nussbaum’s work in nuclear physics, radiation effects and his nuclear activism.

Rufus Putney Papers
The collection includes papers of various bibliographies and writings of University of Colorado Professor of English, Rufus Putney. Putney was born in August 22, 1907 in Brooklyn, NY. He died in February 16, 1996 in Denver, CO. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Washington University (St. Louis) (1930; 1932) and earned his PhD at Yale University (1936). Putney remained a part of the University of Colorado Faculty for 19 years (1947- 1957).

Russell E. Brimhall collection
Russell Edward Brimhall of Hatch, New Mexico, entered the US Navy Training School (Radio), Company 17, on July 22, 1943. The US Navy Radio School was located at the University of Colorado in Boulder from 1942 to 1944 and trained 29 companies.
Ruth Irwin Papers
Ruth M. Irwin (1916-Present) was a teacher and a stay at home mother. She was also a close personal friend of University of Colorado Boulder Geography Professor M. John Loeffler. After writing Search for a Grandmother and Life on a Wyoming Ranch: Early 20th Century, she sent her anecdotes to Professor Loeffler in hopes of it being helpful for research on the American West. Her collection contains the two small manuscripts of her search for her grandmother and life on a ranch.

Ruth Meany Gibeaut papers
Ruth Meany Gibeaut (1894-1974), wife of Earl Benson Gibeaut, a World War I veteran, was a lifelong Colorado resident. In her working years, she was a newspaper stenographer. The Collection includes personal and business correspondence, financial records, letters and receipts related to her husband’s ill health and struggle with the Veterans Administration, in addition to miscellaneous mementoes and family documents.
